Youth Video Contest

Announcing a New Video Contest for Canada’s 150th Anniversary!

To mark Canada’s 150th Anniversary, Freeze Frame and Historica Canada are looking for joint submissions for the 2017 Freeze Frame Youth Video Contest. Entering this contest gives you the chance to have your video seen by theatre audiences at Freeze Frame’s International Film Festival for Kids of All Ages (March 5 and 12, 2017) and, later, in the national contest, #HeresMyCanada.

Video submissions must reflect Canadian culture, history or identity. This is a chance for you to have fun and be creative as you celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, or to take a moment to reflect on darker chapters in our nation’s history.
