What we do...
The Freeze Frame International Festival of Films for Kids of All Ages presents:

Film and Video Screenings
Including features, documentaries, live action and animation from around the world, 30-40% of which are Canadian, in both French and English.

Hands-on Workshops & Post-screening Discussion
Video production and animation workshops, including stand-alone intensives. Workshops and post-screening discussions are led by local film and video professionals, as well as at least one national guest and an international guest.

Reel Views / Vues vérités and Wee-Reel / 'Tites vues
Presents features, shorts, animation and documentaries from around the world made for young audiences, and videos made by children and teens in two age categories. Nominees are publicly screened. View the 2006 Youth Video Winners

Animation Station
Festival participants and the general public can make their own claymation every day of the festival.

Youth Jury
Offers young people the opportunity to exercise their critical judgment skills and to speak out about adult-produced films. Jury members award a prize for Best Feature Film and Best Animated Short, meet the visiting guest artists, and participate in workshops.
