Job Title: Summer Program Facilitator
Job Duration: May 5, 2008 to July 31, 2008 (12 weeks)

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Artistic/Executive Director of Freeze Frame International Festival of Film for Kids of All Ages and in partnership with the Education Coordinator delver video production and animation workshops to children of all ages in both French and English.

Tasks
• facilitate video production workshops at school picnic, street festivals , existing daycamps and other community events
• Preparation of media education materials as required

Criteria:
• Good organizational and writing skills
• Confirmed interpersonal skills
• experience working with children and youth.
• Fully bilingual (French and English).
• Other languages an asset.
• Post-secondary training or experience in a field pertinent to the position, such as media studies, film, communication, fine arts.
• A valid driver’s license

Remuneration: $11/hour x 35 hrs/week.

NB Offered through Young Canada Works. Must be a returning student from out of province.
