The Youth Video Contest is an opportunity for young filmmakers (ages 6 to 18) to share their films on the big screen to a live audience during Freeze Frame’s festival week
Age Categories
Wee Reels (Grades 8 and under)
Reel Views (Grades 9 to 12)
Films can be on any topic and all genres are eligible (e.g. animation, live action, public service announcement, documentary, experimental, music video, webisode).
Films will screened at the Festival at the Centre culturel franco-manitobain (CCFM) on Saturday March 14th at 1 pm (approximate duration: 1 hour).

Eric Plamondon is a multidisciplinary artist working in muddy waters. Eric has made short films that have been screened at film festivals all over the world. In addition, Eric has been serving as artistic director of the Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre since the fall of 2025
Hollis Parrott
Hollis Parrott is a Queer Métis illustrator, animator, and storyteller. Known for their mixed media paper cut illustration, they utilize this favoured medium in their comic and animation work as well. Jury
